Selene Directory offers four unique category type options, each type displays the listing browse a bit differently:
- Classified: Listing Title, Location (City,State), Price
- Directory: Listing Title, Location (City,State), Phone #
- Knowledgebase: Listing Title
- Link: Listing Title (Link to Site), # of Comment, Link to View Listing
Change a category's type setting anytime within the Selene Directory admin console and instantly transform the layout of the category in your public directory.
Custom Fields Make It Easy
In addition to multiple category layouts, Selene Directory also supports a highly flexible custom fields feature that lets you publish an unlimited number of listing types.
With Selene's custom fields you can add labeled data specific to the type of listing you're publishing in an organized and easy to read format. If you're publishing a listing about a home for sale, select the "Real Estate" fields group to add Bedrooms, Bathroom, Sq. Footage, Lot Size and more to the listing. Publishing a classified ad for a used car? Select the "Automotive" fields group to add Make, Model, MPG, Color, Mileage and more.
These are just two examples. Within a few minutes you can fully customize the available fields for exactly the type of listings your directory will manage. You can change them at any time so your directory will grow with you as your publishing needs change.
