You don't need to be a programmer to use Selene, but if you are, we think you're going to love it.
While it is not unusual for development firms to discontinue or limit support if you modify their application, Refresh is pleased to provide the same professional support to all subscribed licensees, regardless of how they are using Selene1.
In some cases, we'll even help with your customizations.
Make Selene "Your" Directory
So you're not excited about your client knowing you used a "packaged" directory? No problem.
We offer a "Developer" license with privileges unavailable in the standard SLA. Including the ability to:
- Alter the branding within the administration console interface.
- Remove the copyright notice from the administration console interface.
A developer license is required to edit the admin console only. All users can fully customize their public directory theme at no additional cost (including removal of the theme footer copyright notice2).
Developer License Fees
The Developer License fee is $649 USD and, as with the Standard License, they are registered and managed in the Refresh Members Site.
All Selene Directory installation are licensed individually. A single Developer License permits a single, rebranded installation.
How to Get It
There are two options for purchasing a Developer License.
Send a Developer License request. You will be invoiced $649 via PayPal. When payment is received your license credit will be added to your members account and your
personalized documentation will be emailed to you.
- Purchase a license through the members site, then send a Developer License request. You will be invoiced the upgrade fee of $500 via PayPal. When payment is received your personalized documentation will be emailed to you.
This license fee is a one time cost. Support & Upgrades subscriptions for Developer Licenses are the same as for Standard Licenses. Click here for subscription details.
Within the Refresh Community Forum is a section devoted to Selene Hacks where users are able to share customizations, request assistance with their own hacks and review "copy & paste" modifications developed by community members and Refresh staff.
- Provided it is within the terms of the Selene Directory SLA, of course.
- Awesome. Right?
